1. Who can participate in the competition?
Students from ages 6 to 19 can participate in specific categories based on age and expertise.
2. Is there any payment required to participate in the ICO? Is it refundable?
Yes. Each team has to pay a sum of 50 USD to participate. Read about our refund policy here.
3. How can I register for the ICO?
Fill out the Registration Form online via the official ICO website. We will email you the details and keep you notified. The registrations will open in January 2025, and the registration form will be available on our official website.
4. How can I create an account to access FREE courses on the Qubits LMS?
Register for the ICO. Follow the process outlined in the mail you receive after registration to create a FREE account and access FREE preparatory resources on Qubits LMS.
5. Can I participate as an individual or only as part of a team?
You can participate individually or form a team based on the category requirements.
6. Can we make changes to our team after registration?
Yes, team changes can be made through your login on the Qubits platform until the submission deadline.
7. What are the submission requirements?
Submissions typically include project files, a presentation, and a video demonstration. Detailed guidelines are provided on the website.
8. Can I participate in different categories with different teams?
Since the first three categories are age-based, you can participate in any one of them only. The fourth category is open to all.
9. Can I participate in different teams in the same category?
No. You cannot be a part of different teams in the same category.
10. Do I need a mentor even if I am participating individually?
Yes. The mentor (parent, teacher, or guardian) is responsible for completing the registration form on behalf of the team/individual and submitting the project for the Competition.
11. Can a team/ individual submit more than one project?
No. A person cannot be a part of more than one team or submit multiple projects.
12. How will the projects be judged?
Projects are judged based on creativity, technical implementation, relevance to the theme, and presentation. Each category has specific rubrics.
13. Are there any preparatory resources available?
Yes, participants get free access to preparatory courses, tutorials, and other learning materials through the Qubits platform.
14. What are the prizes for the ICO?
A prize pool of $30,000 is awarded across all categories. Participants and mentors also receive certificates of recognition.
15. Will all participants receive a certificate?
Yes, every participant and mentor will receive a certificate of participation or mentorship.

17. Can schools or mentors collaborate with the ICO team?
